VPOWR

A high-performance short-pulse laser source capable of over 50W peak powers in 10-50 nanosecond pulses. The VPOWR uses FLIR’s proprietary Vertical-Cavity, Surface-Emitting Laser (VCSEL)technology, which offers high peak powers and high-brightness in a circular output beam for unmatched performance for the time of flight ranging,  3D sensing, LIDAR, and gesture recognition applications. The plug and play board of this 50W short-pulse laser only requires supply power and trigger signal for operation. Custom formats and solutions are available on this 940nm laser diode, as well as a chip on carrier or bare VCSEL die for customer integration. Miniature Laser Illuminator (MLI)

Designed for SWaP-sensitive platforms, including unmanned aerial vehicles and hand-held systems for military personnel.  The MLI is controlled through a serial port and can operate in both CW and QCW modes.

VCSEL Laser Diode. Available with or without a lens.

These vertical-cavity, surface-emitting lasers (VCSEL) enables low speckle, high-quality illumination. This NIR illuminator is available in various wavelengths in the IR including standard wavelengths at 850 and 860 nm, but is also available at other wavelength options, including 808, 885, 940, and 975 nm. The VCSELs are available at optical power levels up to 400 mW, and beam divergences may be customizable.
