Lasers that designate 18mW of output power can have either CW (continuous wave) or pulsed output. CW Lasers are always defined in average output power. Pulsed Lasers with an output power defined in Watts or Milliwatts usually define the laser’s average power, not the peak power of the laser.
We provide a couple of 18mW laser configuration options, including a single-mode, 633nm (632.8nm) HeNe laser, a single-mode, broadband NIR/SWIR superluminescent laser diode (SLD or SLED) with turn-key tabletop and OEM configurations.
If you do not see the exact right configuration for you, do not hesitate to contact us about customization options to our standard products. We are also able to provide completely customized solutions to perfectly fit your unique requirements!
